Curso de micropropagação de plantas - 21ª Edição

About

Micropropagation, or in vitro vegetative propagation, enables the cloning of several species, allowing the production of plants that are genetically identical from cells, organs, or small fragments of a mother plant. It is a technology of practical and potential importance in agriculture, with particular emphasis on the large-scale production of plants that are virtually free of pathogens, the safe exchange of germplasm, as well as research in studies of plant physiology and cytology. Micropropagation has been applied commercially worldwide, mainly in fruit growing, floriculture, and horticulture.
