About the workshop facilitators:

Celiane Camargo-Borges – Professor at Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas), Netherlands. A Brazilian visiting researcher supported by FAPEMIG, she is an educator, researcher, and professional with a background in Psychology. She works on creating environments that foster personal development and strengthen organizations, communities, and nature, with an emphasis on dialogue and collective creativity. She completed a doctoral internship at the University of New Hampshire (USA) and served as a visiting researcher at National Yang Ming University (Taiwan). She is currently part of Breda University of Applied Sciences (Leisure and Tourism), developing activities related to creative leadership, team performance, qualitative methodologies, destination management, and systems design. Her work values ​​creativity, playfulness, and diversity as foundations for innovation and social transformation.

Eugenio van Maanen – Studied human geography. After his master's degree at Utrecht University, he obtained his doctorate from the University of Groningen. His thesis focused on the interpretation of colonial built heritage and the socio-psychological meaning attributed to it by a multi-ethnic community in Paramaribo, Suriname. His research focuses on heritage, tourism, and destination planning, with an emphasis on community engagement and development.

About the Workshop:
This workshop invites participants to explore how leadership and teamwork can foster more creative and inclusive practices. Using the Constructionist-Design Framework—an approach combining social constructionism and design thinking to create more collaborative, creative, and generative processes—participants will experiment with tools to craft more powerful questions, incorporate diverse perspectives, facilitate difficult conversations, and transform ideas into small-scale actions and experiments.
The aim is to view leadership as a collective process capable of creating spaces where new answers can emerge—mobilizing the team's collective intelligence to generate creativity, innovation, and change. Duration: 2 hours
