About

The event “Food Safety Day 2026 - Food Microbiology and the Inspection of Products of Animal Origin” aims to present current and strategic topics related to food quality and safety, with a broad interface with professional practice in the area of ​​food inspection. During the event, lectures will be given by highly qualified professionals internationally recognized for their contributions to food microbiology, in addition to presentations of technical work by veterinary medicine students with academic activities related to the inspection of products of animal origin. Students, professionals, and producers will have the opportunity to update their knowledge in food quality and safety in an environment conducive to integration. This initiative will be important to demonstrate Minas Gerais' leadership in academic activities related to the topic, in line with FAPEMIG's objectives in promoting events.
